Hi, I'm Greg and I'm based at KGSO. Many of my clients live in other states so can travel to you if you prefer flight lessons at your home airport.
Whether you need your Private rating or an airplane ferried, I can help you with the following:
Building good habits is the best way to become a safe pilot. Learning the importance of a solid preflight check, making good decisions concerning the flight and a smooth landing are all elements that you'll learn while getting your Private rating.
An instrument rating is what I call a "get out of jail free" card. How many times have you flown into questionable conditions? An instrument rating will give you the skills to properly deal with weather. It's a more precise way of flying making you safer and more aware of what you're doing. I recommend it for any Private Pilot.
If you're looking to get paid for flying then a Commercial rating is next. You'll not only learn how to better fly your airplane but the "Do's and Dont's" of flying for hire. This is a good time to learn about different operations: 121, 135, 91 & 91K. They're fair test questions that I'll get you prepared for.
I've found that many people want to finish their rating in a reduced amount of time. Depending on your situation (starting from scratch or just need finishing up) I can help you out. I can make flight lessons that fit your time schedule. I can come to you and help you finish your rating at your home airport. It's just a matter of sitting down and figuring out where you are in your lessons or what your goals are.

ForeFlight has become the industry standard for flight planning and filing. With new features added weekly, it's easy to get behind on the updates. I'll be more than happy to help you integrate ForeFlight into your flight deck.
If you have a Garmin product installed on your dash, then most likely you have Garmin Pilot on your phone. Getting your iPhone to communicate with your avionics can be frustrating. I've pulled out my hair so you won't have to.
Whether you have a single engine piston or a jet to ferry, I can help you out. If it's an airplane I'm not familiar with or typed in, I can find the right pilot for the job. With everything I do, I put safety first.
A few years ago I transitioned from the hospitality industry to aviation. I was fortunate enough to have owned a fantastic restaurant for 25 years and loved every minute of it. I learned to fly in 2016, fell in love with airplanes and never looked back.
When I'm not instructing, I fly SIC on a HondaJet.
Apart from aviation, I enjoy travel, food & beverage, cooking, learning languages, motorcycles, boating, RVing and shooting.
